Walking
further down the road we come to 4042 undergoing some adjustments. Once
again, all the work is down out in the open and in plain view of any railway
enthusiast who happens to come along.
4042 was subsequently delivered to QR at Maryborough West on September 30 and went north to Callemondah attached to a freighter the next day. It didn't commence trials until January 20 and finally entered service on February 11 2005*.
